Additional Information

There is a lot of misinformation about Halo. You may read that Halo with a brown nose is worth a small fortune. However, ALL Halo’s have BROWN noses. The articles are designed to mislead the public and make you click on them – clickbait articles they are called.  Here are some other often misleading facts.

PRINCESS DIANA & THE HALO TRUST

In honor of Diana, Princess of Wales, we would like to bring attention to a humanitarian organization she was deeply involved with: THE HALO TRUST.  They clear land of all war debris, so it is safer for children to walk to school, and so people can rebuild their villages.

Princess Diana‘s visit to a minefield in Angola led to a global landmine ban in 1997, saving thousands of lives. Prince Harry continues in his mother’s legacy, and the goal is to be landmine free by 2025. Princess Diana is in a video on their site. (Put Prince Harry in search).

It would not surprise me (Karen Holmes) if that is the reason Ty Warner chose the name Halo for the Beanie baby whose birthdate is 8/31/1998, precisely one year after Princess Diana’s tragic death.

A photograph of Princess Diana wearing the Halo organization shirt can be seen at this link.
