Poem
Brazil has more success than any
other nation in the FIFA World
Cup, qualifying for all 16 (1930-
1998). Brazil was the first country
to win 3 FIFA World Cup Trophies;
1958, 1962, 1970 & was the runner-up in 1950.
Beanie Buddies
There were 32 buddies produced, and their hang tags had the same information as the Beanie Babies, but with ‘CHAMPION the BEANIE BUDDY” on the front and “The Beanie Buddies Collection” inside.
Additional Information
Champion Beanies:
Representing the 32 countries participating in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Ty produced 32 Champion bears, plus 2 written in Japanese and Korean as they hosted the World Cup.
As the countries were eliminated, the Beanies were retired. Brazil and Germany were the final 2, and Brazil won, becoming the World Champion with a score of 2 – 0.
Each bear’s nose had the flag of their country, and inside the hang tags was information about that country. All had an extra FIFA hang tag. FIFA stands for Federation Internationale de Football Association.
FIFA extra hang tag: Champion – Brazil
