We are often asked about where it is best to donate  Beanie Babies and Other Plush Toys, and under normal circumstances it’s easy to find an organization to take them.  Covid 19 has made it much more difficult. You will need to check before you take any to places.

We suggest –

Elementary schools – they use them as learning incentives
Senior citizen homes – they use them as prizes like for bingo games
Women’s shelters – they give them to kids
EMS – they give them to kids
Fire Dept. – they give them to kids
Police – they give them to kids
Doctor Offices – they give them to kids
Children’s hospitals – Many have always had a “no” policy due to dust, germs, etc.  It’s best to check.
Local food banks
Local Church charities
Child Protective Services (CPS)
Youth Homeless Shelters

These organizations are going to want “new” condition beanies for safety reasons.  Old, obviously played with, tattered and worn are best to be tossed.
