All the proceeds from the sales of Issy New York went to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhatten to aid in pediatric cancer research.
The bear was available for purchase after a night’s stay at the Four Season’s Hotel in Manhattan that Ty Warner owns. Originally placed in the room, then later at the desk on checkout. Only 1 per room.
There were 62 other Issy’s available in retail stores, and all the profits from those went to the Terry Fox Foundation to raise money for cancer research.
